It's that time of the month again. Time to bid farewell to my beauty empties and share thoughts on what worked and what didn't. Let's dive right into the product reviews.
Hair Care
Syoss Pure Smooth Conditioner: This conditioner left my hair feeling soft and detangled, but unfortunately, it didn't do much to tame my frizz. I was hoping for a bit more hydration and frizz control, so I don't think I'll be repurchasing.Le Petit Marseillais Purifying Shampoo: I was disappointed with this shampoo. It didn't purify or balance my scalp as claimed, and it left my hair feeling dull and lifeless.
Ikoo Cleansing Scalp Scrub: This scalp scrub was a game-changer. It felt amazing to use and left my scalp feeling clean and refreshed. I highly recommend it.
Lakme Teknia bio Argan Oil: While the scent of this dry oil was lovely, it wasn't quite right for my oily hair. It left my hair feeling slightly weighed down.
Skincare
Mixa Repairing Hand Cream: This cream lived up to its promise of providing intense hydration for my dry hands. The balmy texture was perfect for locking in moisture, especially during the colder months. For a drugstore find, it truly exceeded my expectations.Filorga Foam Cleanser: This cleansing foam is gentle yet effective at removing makeup. It left my skin feeling refreshed, clean, and ready for the next step in my skincare routine.
Essence Grow Like a Boss Lash and Brow Serum: Sadly, this serum didn't live up to the hype. I didn't notice any significant improvement in the length or thickness of my lashes or brows.
Body care
Mades Smoothing Sugar Scrub lychee and lotus: This sugar scrub was a dream to use. The scent was divine, and it left my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. I'll definitely be repurchasing this one.Ziaja Fruity Cranberry and Wild Strawberry Shower Gel: This shower gel smelled amazing and comes in a large, family-sized bottle. However, it left my skin feeling a bit dry after use.
Cerave Moisturizing Cream: While this is a popular choice for dry skin, I found it to be a bit too lightweight for my extremely dry skin. It didn't provide the deep hydration I was looking for.
Rogé Cavaillès Intimate Cleanser: I was not a fan of this intimate cleanser. It didn't feel as gentle or soothing as my usual Saforelle cleanser.
.
Fragrance and Oral Care
Souplesse Deodorants Divine Moments and Ipanema Nights: These deodorants smelled great, but they weren't very effective in hot weather.Zara Lightly Bloom Eau de Parfum: This fragrance wasn't my cup of tea. The scent wasn't very appealing to me.
Gum Activital and Gum Paroex Toothpastes: Both of these toothpastes were excellent. They left my teeth feeling clean and fresh.
Overall, my experience with these products was a mixed bag. While I discovered some new favorites like the Mades sugar scrub and the Ikoo scalp scrub, a few others fell short of my expectations. I hope you found these reviews helpful!
