Ce que j'en pense: Les deux crayons sont rétractable celui d'Essence a une forme d'un crayon standard mais ce n'est pas vraiment le cas puisqu'il est rétractable et nécessite d'être taillé pour permettre de faire des traits fin non pas avec un taille-crayon classique sinon il va le bousiller mais un qui ressemble à celui de Rimmel.
Quant au Rimmel c'est un twist on rétractable avec un embout en mousse qui permet d'estomper dont j'aime beaucoup le packaging, je le trouve agréable à utiliser et petite surprise sous l'embout il contient un petit taille-crayon pour affiner la mine ce qui est plutôt sympa, dommage que la marque Essence n'a pas pensé à ça.
Ils sont tout deux très pigmentées et s'appliquent facilement mais ils ont de différentes textures avec Rimmel vous pouvez estomper le trait tout de suite après l'avoir fait (avant de devenir sec) pour un effet charbonneux vu qu'il est un petit plus gras, ce n'est pas vraiment le cas avec Essence qui a plutôt une texture gel qui sèche rapidement.
Pour ce qui est de la tenue elle est moyenne pour les deux produits et comparé à un eyeliner waterproof classique en forme de stylo ils ne sont pas assez waterproof que ça à mon gout mais bon pour des crayons dont la base est grasse il ne faut pas demander la lune non plus.
What I thought: The two pencils are retractable, Essence one has a shape of a standard pencil but this is not really the case since it is retractable and needs to be sharpened with not a classic sharpener otherwise it will ruin it.
As for the Rimmel one, it's a retractable twist on with a foam for blending. I really like the packaging, I find it pleasant to use and it nice to find under the tip of the eyeliner a small pencil sharpener.
They are both highly pigmented and easily applied but they have different textures with Rimmel you can blend the line immediately after doing it for a smokey effect, this is not really the case with Essence one which has rather a gel texture that dries quickly.
The lasting power is average for both products and compared to a classic waterproof pen eyeliner they are not waterproof enough for my taste but still good for eye pencils.
Verdict
Il n'y a pas de grande différence entre ces deux produits si ce n'est par la texture mais moi je préfère celui de Rimmel pour sa précision car il permet de faire des traits de différentes épaisseurs ainsi que pour le petit taille-crayon que je trouve très utile.
There is not much difference between these two products except by the texture but I prefer the Rimmel one for its precision because it allows to make thin and thick lines as well as the small pencil sharpener that I find very useful.
